Bidou is located in a small village "Lanquais" 20km from Bergerac, in the heart of the Périgord pourpre (Dordogne), named after its vineyards.
The Dordogne is situated in "Aquitaine" in the southwest of France.
Bidou has an estate of 30 hectares, with forests, meadows and fields.
The very long history of Bidou is evidenced by a recently found invoice from 1532, on which Bidou was already mentioned.
It was formerly a wine estate and dependency of the château de Lanquais.
An underground tunnel on our estate proves the important connection with the castle, which served as an escape route during the various wars.
The former wine storage space was converted into 2 spacious gîtes of 80m² each, which we rent separately or together. In addition, there is the private part where we ourselves live.
The gîtes were tastefully renovated with an eye to modern comfort, privacy and authenticity.
You can enjoy a restful holiday here in the midst of nature on an estate located in the typical French countryside.

Gîte Santolin:
This gîte is located on the pool side and overlooks the pool.
The gîte is 80m² large with all modern comforts and is suitable for a maximum of five persons.
There is a walk-in shower, kitchen, lounge and two spacious bedrooms.
The terrace is at the front of the house.
Upon your arrival all necessary beds are made up, towels are ready and a surprise awaits you in the refrigerator.
So just unpack your luggage and the holiday can begin.

Gîte Romarin:
This gîte overlooks the front garden.
The gîte is 80m² large with all modern comforts and is suitable for a maximum of five persons.
There is a walk-in shower, a second bathroom with massage bath, kitchen, lounge and two spacious bedrooms.
Romarin has a terrace at the front of the house and an extra enclosed private garden with a second terrace. Here you can enjoy the sunset in the evening and have a beautiful view over the meadows at the back.
Upon your arrival all necessary beds are made up, towels are ready and a surprise awaits you in the refrigerator.
