Can Maimes is a 16th-century mas that we purchased and completely renovated in 2013. The mas sits on 18 hectares of woodland and offers views of the mountains and, in the distance, the Bay of Roses. We are 8km away from Agullana and are located in a protected nature area. The coast of Rosas is easily accessible and is 38 km away. Figueres is 20km away and offers a variety of cultural activities. The Alberas, where we are located, offer many small villages with picturesque streets. We are approximately 50km away from France and as the crow flies, we are 2 km from France.

Our farmhouse is located in the middle of the forests around Agullana, 8 km from the centre of this idyllic village and 12 km from the motorway exit. We have completely renovated this 16th-century farmhouse and it offers exceptional views over the mountains and the bay of Roses. We are 5 km from the road to La Vajol and are accessible via a partially paved road. We are ideally situated for families or people who enjoy a quiet nature holiday and who love walking, dolce farniente and relaxing by the swimming pool. During peak season, mid-June to end of August, we rent out the entire house. Outside this period, we rent 2 double rooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 double room with shared bathroom, which we offer as a B&B with the possibility of Table d'hôte. By off-season we mean January to mid-June and mid-September to mid-December (excluding Easter holidays).
