Casa dei Sogni d'Oro is a holiday home in San Pietro di Arcevia, Le Marche, Italy run by Flemish-Belgian owners Gino Roelandt and Véronique Baeyens. It is peacefully situated between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennines, a short distance from Ancona airport.
There is a spacious swimming pool of 12x6m (salt electrolysis) with beautiful views of the surrounding area and the Apennines, and which features an elevated pool house with portico.
For the very youngest, there is a separate small playground.
Here there is no landscape pollution from electricity pylons, solar panels, mobile phone masts or busy roads.
With a bit of luck, you might see a herd of deer or wild boar pass by the casa, while a pair of eagles and falcons patrol their territory from the airspace above.
Our casa offers the perfect setting for experiencing Italy and enjoying a sporty, culinary, cultural or simply relaxing lazy vacation or better yet: a combination of all of that, why not!
For sports enthusiasts or those who simply want to experience an unusual, adventurous activity, there are plenty of possibilities—both in groups and individually—such as: vespa, quad, tandem deltaplane flight or paragliding, canyoning, spelunking, trekking, biking, ...
Those who want to take the culinary route are in paradise here. There are many typical restaurants in the immediate vicinity of our casa and on the coast you can extensively enjoy the most delicious dishes with fresh fish and shellfish daily. The Marchegiana cuisine is based on the renowned pure Italian cuisine with simple, tasty dishes without frills but with an abundance of organic ingredients and lovingly prepared in exactly the same way as 100 years ago. Add a nice local wine and you feel like you're in culinary heaven, and all of this without having to dig deep into your wallet.
On a cultural level, you won't go hungry either. Within driving distance are renowned cities such as Urbino and Gubbio (both recognised as UNESCO World Heritage sites), Assisi and Perugia; all jewels of cultural heritage, guaranteeing a delightful day trip. You can also combine culture with tax-free shopping in San Marino.
For nature lovers there are the many nature parks such as: Gola della Rossa and Frassasi (with the spectacular caves), Monte Catria, Monte Cucco, Monte Nerone and Gola del Furlo, the Riviera of Monte Conero, ... You can explore these perfectly on your own using the tourist documentation and walking maps we have available.
You can also perfectly spend one or more days on the beautiful Adriatic coast. There are the more upscale coastal towns such as Senigallia and Sirolo, but also very quiet coastal places such as Marotta.
Even if you prefer to stay at our casa, you can relax nicely: lounge by the pool with the occasional refreshing dip, read a book from our library, enjoy a drink in the shade, play a board game, take a nap in the hammock, play badminton, ...
We also regularly organise optional group activities: a wine tasting at the local winery, a visit to traditional local festivities (the typical sagra's) in the surrounding villages or a nice dinner on site.
There are options for all seasons, for a short stay or a long vacation, for large or small families, for individuals or groups, for young and young at heart.
In short: there is something for everyone's taste and our motto is: ANYTHING GOES, NOTHING IS OBLIGATORY. It's your vacation and we're happy to help you in word and deed to fill it according to your wishes!!
