All of this makes CASA FLAMENCO, located in Spain/Andalusia/Chiclana de la Frontera, the ideal base! Chiclana is situated 25KM from the beautiful historic city/province Cadiz, in the south of Andalusia on the Costa de la Luz. The property is rented directly from the owner. THE PROPERTY IS SUITABLE FOR DISABLED PERSONS/WHEELCHAIR USERS and the owner also supports ALS (people with a muscle disease) by renting out her holiday home. The rural surroundings are slightly hilly. It is especially the 8KM beautiful, wide sandy beaches of the Costa de la Luz that attract many people to this area! This beach (La Barrosa), located just 1.5KM from your guest accommodation and close to Novo Sancti Petri, has even received a blue flag from the association "clean beaches of Europe". The beach in Chiclana is therefore considered one of the best on the Andalusian coast because of the fine texture of its sand and the clarity of the water! La Barrosa is also very popular with surfers during the winter months. Just behind the beach is the main street, parallel to the beach, where you will find plenty of bars and restaurants where you can enjoy delicious tapas, fresh fish and seafood, stews and pastries. Chiclana has the great advantage of having many facilities and leisure opportunities for holiday makers (surfing, horseback riding, tennis and paddle, sailing, golf within beautiful golf resorts, walking in the nature reserve or within the athletics track just 8KM from your accommodation, skating, cycling, visits to indoor and outdoor markets, . . Shoppers have not been forgotten here either (plenty of shops in the area and shopping center "BAHIA SUR" in San Fernando just 15KM from your accommodation). Chiclana is famous for the Sherry produced here, the carnival in Cadiz and Flamenco dancing. Hence also the name of your guest accommodation, run by a Belgian/Flemish owner. Chiclana has also been one of Spain's most important wine regions for many years. The nearest airports are JEREZ at 50KM and SEVILLA at 135KM. The lovely winter climate (18 to 24°) and a not too hot summer make this location ideal for summer and winter holidays! An excursion to Morocco or Gibraltar by boat is also possible. Those who love skiing or snowboarding will find an unforgettable winter sports holiday at Pradollano, 157KM from Chiclana. (66 Km of slopes)

    Ligging: De woning is zéér centraal gelegen. Je kunt met een huurauto van Chiclana alle kanten uit om leuke plekken te bezoeken, zoals Vejer de la Frontera, Jerez de la Frontera, Tarifa, Conil de la Frontera, Cadiz,.. Pluspunt: de huurauto staat op het afgesloten privé domein. Service: Ilse is een zéér aangename en attente gastvrouw. Ze gaf ons elke morgen een lekker ontbijt, gaf leuke tips en adresjes om te gaan eten en gaf ons voldoende privacy in de woning en aan het zwembad. Comfort: De kamer was ok, de badkamer was eigenlijk iets te klein. We hebben ons wat in bochten moeten wringen om op een comfortabele manier in- en uit de douche geraken. Het bed voelde wat hobbelig aan, was wennen, maar het lukte. Stevige, houten ligbedden aan het zwembad. Hygiëne: tijdens ons verblijf van een week werden de lakens niet ververst en de badkamer niet gepoetst. Wel altijd propere badhanddoeken en een super proper zwembad! Prijs/kwaliteit: de prijs voor kamer & ontbijt lag hoger (28 euro/nacht) dan een gelijkaardige B&B waar we in Sevilla verbleven. Besluit: Ondanks de kleine opmerkingen hebben we een zéér aangenaam verblijf gehad en raden we iedereen aan om in Casa Flamenco bij Ilse te logeren! Dank u wel Ilse!

    Beste Carla Dank voor jullie commentaar. Zoals ik vooraf duidelijk meldde, worden kamers/badkamers steeds VOOR jullie aankomst grondig gepoetst en 1x/week opnieuw gepoetst. Handdoeken en badhanddoeken werden idd elke dag opnieuw voorzien. Jullie waren die periode alleen in de woning dus mochten beide badkamers zeker gebruiken. Steeds welkom in de toekomst. Ilse

    Erg rustig gelegen B&B met prachtig zwembad en een erg lieve gastvrouw die goede tips geeft voor culinaire hoogstandjes en toeristische bezienswaardigheden in de buurt . Echt een aanrader

    Tweede keer dat we bij Ilse komen,en alweer super genoten van de rust,het zwembad en de aangename ligbedden. Ook slapen doen wij hier heel goed en blij met de airco. De restaurants die ze ons aanbeveelt zijn super en de prijs is hier heel goed. Ilse is een super gastvrouw die heel goed en attent is voor haar klanten. Wij hebben genoten en komen zeker weer eens terug.

    Een zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw.met alles wat ze kan ,zal ze helpen. Een zeer mooi groot zwembad. Zeer mooi groot terras. Een echte aanrader.
