The holiday home is within walking distance of the picturesque village of Régusse, located in the Var. The village has a bakery, supermarket, petrol station, restaurants and sports fields. Lac de Sainte Croix and Gorges du Verdon are nearby. (15 to 30 minutes by car). The distance to the sea is 70 kilometres. The house is suitable for 8 people. 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom, large kitchen with all amenities. It is situated on a plot of 2000 square metres, completely enclosed. It has a cosy garden with olive trees, a 4 by 8 metre swimming pool, large sunny terrace with sun loungers, dining table and chairs, pool house with lounge area, pergola, hammocks and swing. There is ample parking. Free WIFI. Pets are not allowed and smoking inside is prohibited. There is also a washing machine. Mandatory end-of-stay cleaning of 120 euros and 750 euros deposit to be paid on-site.
Between Artignosc sur Verdon and St. Laurent de Verdon (15 minutes by car) there is a nice family beach by the water. A beautiful lawn area with small bar, rental of canoes, pedalos, electric boats, fishing opportunities, ...
From Régusse you can undertake plenty of activities. Relaxation, adventure, culture, everything is here. Think of Aups, a lively village with a Provençal market for connoisseurs. Or the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix, filled with sky-blue water and surrounded by a few picturesque villages, such as Bauduen or Sainte Croix du Verdon. Or the beautiful village of Moustiers Sainte Marie, renowned for its hand-painted pottery and its floating star and also the starting point for impressive hikes through the Gorges du Verdon, Europe's only true Grand Canyon! In the Verdon area you can hike, but also kayak, raft, rock climb, ... Prefer to take it easier? A short drive will take you to the most impressive views of the Verdon. Furthermore, there are a few hidden gems in this part of Provence, such as Tourtour with its phenomenal views or Villecroze, with its beautiful village square and old cave dwelling. Also Sillans la Cascade with its waterfalls and also a paradise for lovely walks. Aix en Provence is one of the most beautiful cities in Provence. Here you will find beautiful old buildings, cosy squares, delicious food and enormous shopping opportunities! Marseille, just two hours' drive from Régusse, is the fifth largest city in France. Marseille is on the Mediterranean and has a photogenic luxury sailing harbour. The city is also known for its high-end culinary seafood restaurants. If you fancy the luxurious lifestyle of the stars, you can also visit Saint Tropez, Nice or Cannes. No one will be bored here, something for everyone and too much for one holiday.
