El Perro Loco is a small-scale Adults Only B&B in the hamlet of Los Hijanos, in the province of Malaga. We - Kim and Caroline - rent out 2 traditionally Andalusian casitas, which we have furnished with vibrant colours. One casita has 1 bedroom, the other 2 bedrooms. Each casita has its own bathroom with toilet and shower, an equipped kitchen and a living room. Air conditioning, heating, towels and bed linen are included.
Since the casitas have their own facilities, you can perfectly cook your own meals. Those looking for blissful idleness will also get their fill with us. We provide a delicious extended breakfast every day. Lunch and dinner are available on a daily basis, always in consultation with our guests.
El Perro Loco has a heated outdoor swimming pool and a cosy reading corner with hammock and bookcase. In our garden you'll find all sorts of nooks and crannies to seek out peace and quiet. Or to entertain our dogs, the choice is yours.
Host Kim runs pottery workshops in his studio Zjattas y Talloras (also in Los Hijanos). From beginner to advanced, everyone is welcome. We'll later make sure your creations reach you.
Prefer to head out and explore? El Perro Loco is located in the Axarquia region and belongs to the municipality of Comares. We live in a micro-climate; in winter it's never very cold and in summer the temperatures are ideal with always a light breeze. We are surrounded by beautiful nature and on the route of avocados and mangoes. From our B&B you can take breathtaking walks. Don't forget to bring walking shoes, as here you'll find some steep leg-burners.
While we may be 'in the middle of nowhere', that doesn't mean there's nothing to do in the surrounding area. Shops are a 10-minute drive away. We have nice restaurants nearby, and we're happy to tell you all about them.
In Comares - a famous white village - you can walk beautiful routes, eat tapas on the village square, enjoy sweeping views, climb rocks, do a death ride, ... Horse riding through the mountainous landscape, a Vespa tour, a massage at home, ... too much to mention. We're happy to help you plan your ideal holiday.
We are half an hour's drive from the coast and just under an hour's drive from Malaga city centre. So you can perfectly spend a day at the beach, do some city trips and soak up some culture. And in the evening return to the peaceful nature. The best of both worlds!
