Our house is situated in a beautiful garden with a cider orchard and a lush organic vegetable garden in permaculture.
We live in the countryside a few kilometers from St Mère-Eglise in the heart of the stunning nature reserve "Parc des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin".
Picturesque villages, rolling meadows and marshes are interspersed with typical countryside landscape of hedgerows and embankments, known here as bocage.
The sea is never far away. You can enjoy lovely walks on the extensive beaches and in the numerous small fishing harbors around the area where you can savour oysters and other delicious seafood.
The landing beaches of Utah Beach and Omaha Beach are nearby. Numerous museums and memorials bear witness to this. A visit to Mont-St.-Michel and the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey) are also possible.
We are happy to give you information about the wide range of attractions in the region that we ourselves continue to enjoy time and again.
A combination of a stay in our guest room and our studio is possible. Camping on our meadow or in our cozy caravan is also an option.

Geweldig ontbijt, buiten in het zonnetje, bleef me het meeste bij. Vandaar kan je ook prima met de fiets uitstappen doen.

genoten van mijn verblijf! met de fiets in de wagen een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor talrijke prachtige plekjes langs kust en binnenland, of ook met de wagen de verdere dingen aan te doen. Ik kwam niet toe met mijn tijd. Een plek om helemaal tot rust te komen in de volle natuur en de prachtige tuin, tussen de twee bezige bijtjes Kris en Anne, die wel één lijken met al de natuur die hen omringt. Ze kennen de streek op hun duimpje en staan altijd klaar met goeie adviezen. En ontbijten om U tegen te zeggen.

Ideale uitvalsbasis om de Cotentin te verkennen : haventjes, visresto’s, stranden maar ook een nog authentieke natuur in het binnenland. Geen anonieme toeristeninfo uit folders maar persoonlijke uitleg door Anne naar wens verstrekt. Ontbijt op het terras met extra eigen toets van Kris, van wie we overigens ook de stielkennis konden appreciëren bij de puike inrichting van de studio ...
