L' Oliveda

This villa is fully equipped with air conditioning and features a fully fitted kitchen, dining room, lounge, 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and individual air conditioning systems, a private swimming pool, a garden, barbecue, free WiFi and free private parking. The villa is located on the hills above Le Tignet in an oasis of peace and tranquility on an enclosed plot of 3,000m2, 10 minutes from a lake (Lac St-Cassien), 40 minutes from Nice airport, 30 minutes from Cannes and 45 minutes from ski slopes. You are in a quiet green setting yet close to all essential amenities (at the foot of the hill, less than 5 minutes' drive): Carrefour, Intermarché, Lidl, wine merchant, 2 bakeries, pizzeria, newsagent, cafés, hairdresser... Access to the property is secured via an electric gate with remote control and the house is equipped with an alarm system. Shaded parking is provided for at least 4 cars. The interior features a spacious lounge with fireplace and a dining area set for 8 people. There is also a separate TV room for children (and adults). From the dining room, two double sliding doors provide direct access to the covered terrace and swimming pool. Fully fitted kitchen with American fridge (ice maker), microwave, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster. The kitchen opens directly onto the covered sunny terrace with an 8-person dining table (including 8-10 chairs) which also features a double sink and a BBQ. There are 4 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom (2 with shower, 1 with bath and 1 with shower and bath) and an air conditioning system per room. For families with 3 to 4 children there is an additional room with a pull-out bed for 2 extra sleeping spaces (children). Two bedrooms have double beds. One has a small terrace/balcony, the other has direct access to the covered terrace (where there is a small seating area) and views of the swimming pool. The other 2 bedrooms each have 2 single beds that can be pushed together if needed. Bath towels and bed linen are provided with the villa. There is also an adjoining laundry room with washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board. A high chair and baby cot are also available. The spacious swimming pool (monocoque 10x5) is easily accessible via a "roman staircase" and offers both shallow and deep sections. The swimming pool has an immersion alarm system which provides additional safety should a child (unsupervised) jump into the pool. Around the pool you will find 4 loungers, 2 parasols and a lounge. Maintenance staff inspect the swimming pool weekly. Beach towels are provided with the villa. Next to the swimming pool there is also a play area with a swing. In a previous life, our family lived for 8 years in the Luberon (Lourmarin). The Provençal "art de vivre" has never left us. Now we have arrived in the beautiful Massif du Tanneron with sea and ski slopes within reach. Staying on-site is of course the first option. The house is an oasis of peace and an ideal base for hikers/cyclists. For lovers of life there is an abundance of wine, cheese, tapenades, seafood. Le Tignet is located at the westernmost edge of the Alpes-Maritimes department, along the Siagne river, which separates the village from the Var department.
