La Grange du Landorre offers an authentic stay for five to six people in a recently renovated 18th-century barn, located on a two-hectare natural estate with a private outdoor swimming pool.
It is pleasant to stay in our gîte year-round thanks to underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove in winter and cooled floors during the warm summer period.
The gîte is extremely peacefully situated in the small hamlet 'Au Saule' with only 3 houses, some two kilometres outside the village of Villesèque and 15 km from Cahors.
The spacious living room offers a broad view of 100% nature.
You regularly see deer or other wildlife passing by.
In the living room there is a wood-burning stove, flat-screen TV with decoder, soundbar and DVD player.
Both bathrooms have a walk-in shower, sink, toilet and storage space. In addition, there is a separate guest toilet. In the storage room you will find a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There are two bedrooms each with a double bed of 160x200cm and a third bedroom with a bed of 140x200cm. A cot and high chair are available upon request.
The gîte has a large, shaded terrace on the south side and a smaller terrace on the north side. From the terrace on the east side you can watch the sunrise.
At the spacious outdoor dining table with barbecue, in the lounge chairs or on the sun beds around the private swimming pool (9x4 m) you can enjoy each other's company and take in the view.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances: fridge with freezer compartment, induction hob, combi microwave-oven, dishwasher, Delonghi espresso machine, kettle, toaster,...
Kitchen utensils and tableware are abundantly provided.
The gîte is located in Quercy Blanc near the magnificent Causses du Quercy nature park, a unique heritage site, recognised by Unesco. 'Blanc' refers to the white limestone from which the houses and villages are built. This region is also known for Cahors Malbec wine with its unique character.
The peaceful surroundings of the accommodation invite all kinds of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, horse riding, canoeing and swimming.
With its exceptional heritage, Quercy also offers a remarkable wealth of sites to discover: small medieval towns and remarkable villages, remnants from the Hundred Years' War and the Wars of Religion, castles and manor houses, museums dedicated to fine art or history, etc.
