La Lègerie is located in the heart of the Parc naturel régional Périgord-Limousin, on the southern edge of the Haute Vienne department, just 150 meters from the border with the Dordogne.
In the green and water-rich Périgord Vert, you will find our converted French farmhouse. The farmhouse with its typical French charm is equipped with all modern comforts. The gîtes are furnished in a modern style according to our own taste.
On the 5-hectare estate there are four gîtes, Le Creuset and La Châtaigne in the former farmhouse and Le Petit Prince and La Grenouille in the old barn.
In the evenings we offer the opportunity to enjoy a delicious three-course dinner prepared by the host.

La Grenouille
Our newest gîte La Grenouille (a gîte for 6 people) has a total area of 160 square meters. The gîte has a spacious living and dining area and the kitchen is fully equipped.
The terrace is at the back of the gîte with a beautiful, expansive view of the lake and the meadow. After a day of swimming or visiting villages, you can enjoy the peace and quiet here. The upper floor has three bedrooms and a bathroom. The rooms are furnished with comfortable box spring beds and for the youngest we are happy to add a cot. If you want to enjoy the peace and the fantastic views, then La Grenouille is the perfect gîte for you.

Le Petit Prince is located in the old barn of the French farmhouse dating from 1752. The name refers to the famous book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Positief: Hele mooie groene locatie met genoeg ruimte voor de kinderen en leuke dorpjes in de buurt om te bezoeken. Vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw, David en Anne die een heerlijke diner verzorgen waar je kan aanschuiven als je wil. Mooie, ruime huisjes, fijn zwembad en leuke speeltoestellen voor de kinderen. Mooi uitzicht. Heerlijke locatie om even te vertoeven!

Positief: We komen er al jaren en hebben alle huisjes wel een keer bewoond. Het is er heerlijk en
Voor ieder wat wils. Zeker ideaal voor een vakantie met wat jongere kinderen door aanwezigheid zwembad, speeltuintje, zandbak, fietsjes, etc. Je hoeft eigenlijk nergens naartoe. Al is er genoeg te doen in de omgeving zoals, golfen, dierentuin, kanoën, binnenzwembad, zwemmeer, marktjes, broccanterien, you name it. Anne en David kunnen je er alles over vertellen (maar er ligt ook een handige map met informatie voor je klaar) elke ochtend wordt er vers brood voor je gehaald en als je heerlijk wil eten kun je dat gewoon bij Anne en David doen onder de leuke Abri aan een lange gezellige tafel.
Ik ga ar altijd hardlopen, maar andere mensen zie ik fietsen en wandelen. Met alle heuvels is dat uitstekend voorbije conditie! Kortom een ideale vakantieplek!
Negatief: Moet dat echt? Moeilijk;-) alles is gezellig en ruim ingericht. Ieder huisje op zijn eigen manier. Verwacht niet dat alles nieuw van de Ikea is;-)

Positief: Mooi groot, sfeervol terrein, met veel speelvoorzieningen waar kinderen zich uren kunnen vermaken. Leuke eigenaren die zorgen dat het je aan niets ontbreekt
Negatief: Geen winkels of restaurants in de buurt (maar David en Anne zorgen desgewenst voor een heerlijk diner of vers brood dus dit hoeft geen probleem te zijn)
