Le Couvent is a restored convent, situated on a hill in the rural village of Fieux. With a living area of 310m2 on a fully enclosed property of 65 acres, this holiday home accommodates 12 adults. There are 6 bedrooms, 5 modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and separate dining room with TV, a winter living room with TV and summer living area with pool, soccer and library. You can also enjoy free use of wifi, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The holiday home is equipped with air conditioning and an electric charging station. From the private 11x5m swimming pool with sun terrace and loungers, you have views over the surrounding countryside. On clear days you can even see the Pyrenees. The 2 century-old chestnut trees provide a large shaded terrace next to the dining room with aperitif lounge, garden furniture under a pergola, BBQ and ping pong table. Ambient lighting is provided both on the terrace and in the pool. Staying at Le Couvent is enjoying peace and quiet in nature. Yet it is only a stone's throw away from charming villages with typical markets, monuments and sporting activities of the region. The bustling cities such as Agen, Toulouse and Bordeaux are also easily accessible.

Le Couvent

The monastery has been completely restored while preserving the beautiful high ceilings, tall windows with shutters and natural stone walls. The accommodation has 6 bedrooms with air conditioning: 2 on the ground floor and 4 on the first floor. Availability and prices can be found on our website https://nl.lecouvent.eu/ The first bedroom features two single box spring beds that can be combined into a double bed and a separate bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and sink. On the ground floor there is also a separate toilet. Bedroom 3 with a double bed also has a sofa bed (suitable for 2 children) and en-suite bathroom (toilet, sink and shower). Bedroom 4 has a double bed, small desk and en-suite bathroom (toilet, sink, shower and freestanding bath). The 2 remaining bedrooms on the first floor (both with 2 single beds) share a bathroom with shower and 2 sinks. They also have a separate toilet. A cot and high chair are available upon request. During peak season (July and August) we rent by the week with Saturday as the changeover day. In other months, a minimum 3-night stay is possible with flexible changeover day.

    Top verblijf! Ruime kamers en de keuken is goed uitgerust voor een grote groep. Het terras en de tuin met zwembad zijn perfect om uren in te vertoeven!

    Prachtige, ruime woning die vooral ook goed onderhouden is. Ik heb géén mankementen gespot! Voor onze groep van 11 waren er meer dan voldoende faciliteiten afwezig. Zowel qua keuken, sanitair en entertainment. De omgeving is rustig en nodigt uit voor een wandeling door de akkers of een fietstocht.

    Zonet een fantastische vakantie achter de rug in Le Couvent te Fieux. Het oude klooster werd met veel zorg en smaakvol gerestaureerd. Wij hadden het geluk de eigenaars te mogen ontmoeten en deze sympathieke mensen deelden met ons hun passie voor de imposante woning en de omgeving. Het zwembad is uitnodigend and werd uitvoerig gebruikt. Uitstapjes gemaakt in onmiddellijke omgeving: wandeling door de bossen en wijnproeven in Nérac, fietsen langs de Garonne, Marché Gourmand 's avonds; en iets verder: bezoek aan Toulouse, Dune du Pilat en wijngaarden van Haut-Médoc. Een echt heel leuke vakantie en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!
