You will stay in a renovated 18th-century manor farm, on the edge of a small quiet village in the west of the Aveyron department, with views over our 8-hectare grounds, our meadows, the valley and a large forest. Located in a very peaceful setting, in a part of France that remains undiscovered by many. The Aveyron is the department with the most 'beautiful villages of France'.
We purchased this old farmhouse in 2018 and with great love and respect for its traditional character have restored it to its former glory.
We offer two options: bed and breakfast on the one hand, and because the house is very large, also as an independent gîte.
You will be able to recharge your batteries with us, which is why we chose our name. Moreover, this region is a paradise for walking.
We do not have a swimming pool, but we are very close to 2 fantastic natural rivers (Aveyron, Viaur) where you can sunbathe abundantly and cool off with a refreshing dip.
A region full of historical and cultural treasures. In summer, each village has its own festivities and there is plenty of French ambiance.
A large garden is at your disposal with several different terraces, hammocks and beautiful spots, and a private woodland to discover further afield.
You can also come to us for an introduction to equine ethology and depending on the season for a workshop on making chocolate pralines.

You will stay in a room with a large, comfortable bed (220 x 160 cm), with a good mattress and duvet that speak for themselves. In the room is a pull-out sofa bed for a third person. Furthermore, you have a desk with chair, documentation about the region, and storage space.
Our rooms have been ecologically renovated using only natural materials, wood wool insulation and a pleasant oak wooden floor.
Peace and quiet are guaranteed.
There are 2 skylights in the room, so you can enjoy a fresh breeze even on the warmest summer nights.
Possibly with the sound of owls in the background and the beautiful starry sky above you.
Tea and coffee can be found in the common area downstairs.
We have chosen not to place the toilet and bathroom in the same room, but right next to the bedroom. It is a spacious bathroom where you can move around comfortably, with a walk-in shower, two handmade natural stone sinks and a bath. All of this is shared (if the second room is rented at the time of your stay) with the second room.
We do not have a TV in the room; if desired, you can use the TV in the common area downstairs.
Downstairs is a very cosy living space with lounge, wood stove, and dining table. Our own kitchen is located in the common living area.
Your pets are welcome by request, as we also have cats, a dog, horses and chickens.

If desired, you can also ask us to prepare breakfast or dinner for you.
