Les Lunettes Rasteau

We are Ilse and Dieter and live in Rasteau, close to Vaison-la-Romaine. In 2022 we started the renovation of an old olive mill and converted it into 2 spacious holiday gîtes of 85m² each and a studio of 22m². In addition, there is the private section where we live. The gîtes were tastefully renovated with an eye to comfort and authenticity. Both feature a spacious and cosy living room, kitchen, toilet, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Our studio 'Dentelles' has a room with 2 beds that can be combined into a double bed with a seating area, a bathroom with a rain shower and a kitchenette. Our gîte 'Mirabel' has a balcony with beautiful views of 'Les Dentelles de Montmirail', the gîte 'Romain' offers more privacy and its own garden. We are located in Vaucluse (Provence) 8km from Vaison-la-Romaine, known for its ancient Roman amphitheatre and sites, the medieval town and also for its weekly market on Tuesdays, the largest in Provence. From our garden you can walk straight into the vineyards where 'Côtes de Rhône' ripens. Of course there are numerous wine tastings in the area. Our 3500m² estate offers views of the 'Dentelles de Montmirail', a climbing, cycling and walking paradise for nature lovers. Another advantage for cyclists is that we are located 17km from Malaucene, at the foot of Mont Ventoux. And the nature reserve of the 'Baronnies' is also nearby.
