Mas Bouzige

Location B&B Mas Bouzige is located in the Gard, a "hidden" gem where you can experience the southern atmosphere and the landscape is wonderfully beautiful. Moreover, B&B Mas Bouzige is the ideal base for exploring the surrounding areas (Ardèche, Provence and Camargue). A bit of history The former farmhouse dates from around the 17th-18th century and was owned by the Bouzige family. Fernand Bouzige, as chairman of the wine cooperative, was involved in making barrels, carrying barrels for the wine farmers. In and around the building you will find plenty of details from this period. Domain The heart of the domain is the inner courtyard. The 200-year-old mulberry trees, the fountain with the dame-jeanne vases, ... create an oasis of peace. It's wonderful to spend time in the lounge or at one of the tables. On the outside of the building is the swimming pool. This preserves the tranquility of the inner courtyard. Also on the outside of the building is a private parking area. Shared space In the shared space, Thomas & Marleen prepare an extensive breakfast buffet for guests every morning. You will also find the honesty bar as well as plenty of information about the region. At the table In the morning they pamper their guests with an extensive breakfast buffet consisting of, among other things, chocolate spread, jam, various types of meat and cheese, an egg, fresh and dried fruit, various types of bread, oatmeal, granola, coffee, hot chocolate, tea and fruit juice. Four to five times a week they offer tables d'hôtes: a three-course menu, barbecue, pizza à volonté, cheese & wine,... in short, something for everyone. In good weather, meals are taken at the long table in the inner courtyard. When the weather is less favorable, this takes place in the shared space. Rooms / studios B&B Mas Bouzige has 2 rooms and 3 studios, all overlooking the inner courtyard. The studios are named CLAIRETTE, ROUSSANNE and CARIGNAN. These names refer to grape varieties frequently used in Languedoc-Roussillon. The studios are for 2 people with the possibility of 4 people (ROUSSANNE & CARIGNAN). A sofa bed can be used for children aged 3 to 16 years. Each studio has a bedroom, a seating area, a bathroom and a kitchenette (with oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator, coffee and tea facilities). Air conditioning is available. The rooms are named GRENACHE and SYRAH. These names refer to grape varieties frequently used in Languedoc-Roussillon. The rooms are for 2 people.
