Moulin de Broaille is an old water mill with a history dating back to the 17th century. The mill was carefully renovated with a modern touch while preserving the typical old elements. In this stylish setting, you can enjoy history hand in hand with modern comfort. The estate covers 1.6 hectares and has a large enclosed car park. For motorcyclists and cyclists there is an enclosed covered storage facility. On one of the terraces overlooking the Somme river with its waterfalls, you can enjoy a delicious, abundant breakfast in the morning. We also offer our guests the possibility to stay for dinner in the evening. For just 29 euros you can enjoy an extensive 4-course menu (starter, main course, dessert, cheese). Simply let us know at breakfast. Our accommodation is also equipped with a cosy bar where Belgian beers and Trappist beers are available (Jupiler, Leffe Blond, Leffe Bruin, Omer, Kriek Lindemans, Duvel, La Chouffe, Tripel Karmeliet, Westmalle Tripel, Westmalle Dubbel, St. Bernardus Tripel, Westvleteren and finally "Orval which is served at an age of at least 2 years old"). More than 150km of signposted cycling and walking trails make our B&B the ideal base for walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers. We are happy to provide you with the necessary maps and guides. Everyone knows Burgundy for its renowned cuisine and wine regions such as Chablis, Mâcon, Beaune, ... On top of that, this region has so much more to offer thanks to its rich history. Beautiful castles and historic towns such as Beaune, Autun, Chalon-sur-Saône, Bourbon-Lancy, Cluny, Nevers ...
LITTLE BUDDHA The old grain loft of our mill has been transformed into a luxurious Asian suite with a reading corner. Thanks to the zen atmosphere and tasteful furnishings with atmospheric decoration, you will feel at ease in no time. You enjoy a breathtaking view of the river with its waterfalls and, if you're lucky, can spot a deer grazing in the garden.
OUT OF AFRICA: This room consists of 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a double bed with a full bathroom (toilet, sink and shower) and on the upper floor there are 2 single beds and a toilet and sink. So this room offers the possibility for a family with 1 or 2 ADULT children (18+) OUR ACCOMMODATION IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR ADULTS (18+)
CASABLANCA: This room, where the warm southern atmosphere welcomes you through the colours, mosaics and lighting, you wake up in the morning to the sound of the waterfalls and enjoy the view of the river and the garden.
THE SOUND OF MUSIC : In this spacious room you will be completely immersed in the musical atmosphere and it is south-facing. The former loading dock of the mill has been converted into a balcony, from which you have a view of the mill lake.
A ROOM WITH A VIEW: This room is the smallest of the 5 rooms with a cozy, romantic atmosphere and soft colors. You enjoy a beautiful view of both the river with the waterfalls and the old mill pond.

We hebben hier 9 daagjes verbleven eind augustus. We werden met open armen ontvangen door Evelien en Alain. Een heel warm welkom met een aperitiefje. Het zijn super lieve eigenaars!! Niets is hun teveel. Je vraagt het gewoon even, en zij zorgen ervoor. Hebben genoten van hun gastvrijheid en van het lekkere eten van Evelien. De B&B is een pareltje!! Voldoende keuze om te genieten van het open/overdekt zwembad, in de zon of leuke schaduw plekjes aan de Somme. Leuke uitstapjes gedaan met nuttige tips van Evelien. Sfeer wordt er zeker gebracht door Alain (of Jan dentuinman). En hun hond Unaj is zo braaf en lief, altijd in voor een knuffel, voor wie er behoefte aan heeft. We kunnen iedereen die op zoek is naar een mooie omgeving en rust, deze B&B voor 200% aanbevelen. Wij hopen alvast op een weerzien!!
Voor de zesde maal deze prachtige B&B bezocht. Alles is daar tot in de puntjes verzorgd het domein, de kamers, het uitgebreid ontbijt en de table d'hôte,... Evelien kent de streek heel goed en geeft goede tips voor wandelen, fietsen, marktjes,... Het zwembad is een groot pluspunt. Je kan er op de vele plaatsjes ook tot rust komen als je dat wilt. Zeer zeker een aanrader. Wij gaan alvast volgend jaar terug.

Heerlijk genoten van ons verblijf bij Moulin de Broaille. Alain en Evelien verwelkomen je met open armen, je voelt je als een vriend des huizes. 's Avonds samen gezellig aperitieven en genieten van het lekkere avondmaal. 's Morgens in de stilte ontwaken, vergezeld van een lekker ontbijt. In de streek heel mooie uitstapjes gedaan mbv de tips van Evelien. Op het domein kan je heerlijk genieten van het zwembad en de mooie tuin - perfect onderhouden door tuinman Jan ;) Je kan er ook een potje tafeltennis of biljart spelen. Tevens was het ook steeds fijn om verwelkomd te worden door de lieve hond Unay. Het was onze eerste maal in een B&B in Frankrijk, maar het is zeker en vast een aanrader! We kijken met heel veel leuke herinneringen terug aan ons verblijf!
