Pension Fernsicht

Fernsicht, "simplicity". Our small guesthouse (13 beds, 1 triple room) is located in the heart of Carinthia, the southernmost province of Austria. At 1200m altitude, surrounded by complete peace and quiet, the ideal holiday destination both in winter and summer. From homemade dishes with vegetables from our vegetable garden or the forest, to personal tips for your activities, we do everything we can to make your (family) holiday memorable. Pension Fernsicht was built in the 1970s and taken over by me and Ruben in 2006. Our goal was and is to create a holiday place where we ourselves would love to go on holiday. Not grand luxury, but hospitality in a wonderful location. The simply but tastefully furnished rooms have their own washbasin, table and chair. Bed linen and towels are provided. A double shower and 4 toilets are located in the hallway. If the weather doesn't permit dining outside, breakfast and dinner (15 euro, child 10 euro) are served in the guest room. There is also a bar, seating area and dartboard. There is also a veranda with library and play corner. In our large garden you have access to a terrace with beautiful views, a place for a campfire, hammocks, deckchairs and a swing, a vegetable and fruit garden, table tennis and not to forget a sauna hut with its own shower.
