Welcome to our small-scale holiday park on a beautiful wine estate at the foot of Mount Etna.
In the peaceful surroundings near the village of Castiglione di Sicilia (voted one of the Borghi più belli d'Italia) you can enjoy comfort, hospitality and tranquility in the Sicilian countryside.
We have 8 different luxury holiday homes ranging from 2 to 8 persons, all with air conditioning. The restored Casa Colonica is authentic and located in the old Palmento (wine farm). The remaining modern houses are newly built and are all terraced and split-level. Our Dutch-speaking host/hostess provides personal welcome and is available 24/7 on the estate to ensure you lack nothing.
Tenuta Madonnina is very suitable for families during school holiday periods but also for young couples (possibly with small children) and older couples in the pre- and post-season when it is simply a bit quieter.
In short, for everyone who loves the good life (Dolce Vita).
All our houses are rented on a weekly basis and exceptions are possible in the pre- and post-season. We organize a Sicilian dinner twice a week (our Sicilian chef from the village cooks typical regional dishes with local produce) on our large terrace for our guests.
Of course you can enjoy and relax by our spacious swimming pool which also has a shallow section for the little ones. The sun loungers and shaded spots provide the necessary cooling alongside the refreshing water.
The many possibilities for excursions from Tenuta Madonnina make us an excellent base. On foot you can discover the Alcantara river and gorge near the Byzantine chapel. If you take the car (a must) you can visit the coast and Taormina or one of the Godfather villages. There you can also enjoy beach life just half an hour's drive from our estate. Of course you must not miss a trip to the active volcano Mount Etna. We are happy to arrange for you an unforgettable tour by 4x4 Jeep from the estate with our experienced and fluent English-speaking (even a few words of Dutch) guides and this will certainly be the highlight of your holiday at Tenuta Madonnina!
