We have a small farmhouse in Burgundy, specifically in "La Grande Verrière". Part of the farmhouse is set up as a gite and available for rent. There is a terrace at kitchen level, ideal for a peaceful breakfast in a beautiful setting. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 open bedroom in the roof space with a double bed and 1 on the ground floor with 2 single beds that can of course be pushed together. A cot is also available if needed. On the mezzanine is the bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove, fridge, microwave, etc., is connected to the living room with dining table and lounge. For larger families there is the possibility to rent the maid's room as well. Suitable for 2 people, there is a toilet and sink. There is a restaurant with grocery shop and bread collection point within a 10-minute walk (yes, you'll leave your car behind). A 15-minute drive takes you to Autun with all shops and facilities. In summer guests can also make use of the swimming pool, there is also a play area with a petanque court (a children's play structure, a badminton net, a football goal etc. there are also a few bicycles available). The surroundings are ideal for walking and cycling. From here you can of course explore the wider area and apart from nature there are plenty of beautiful villages and towns to discover.
